Feste patronali a Malta, un’esperienza local tutta da vivere
L’arcipelago di Malta si sa, è una meta che conquista tutti per le tante esperienze che si possono vivere a contatto con il suo splendido mare, la natura incontaminata e la storia millenaria.
Per chi desidera vivere al 100% lo spirito maltese il consiglio è quello di prender parte ad una delle tante feste patronali che animano il periodo estivo e che sono particolarmente indicate anche a chi viaggia in famiglia.
Ogni villaggio è legatissimo alla propria festa patronale e si prepara, a volte anche per un intero anno, a celebrare questi eventi con processioni accompagnate da bande musicali, street food tradizionale e soprattutto tanti fuochi d’artificio che raggiungono il culmine il sabato antecedente al giorno dedicato al santo patrono. Queste feste sono così radicate nella tradizione locale che l’Unesco ha deciso di inserirle tra i beni immateriali Patrimonio dell’Umanità.
